This site is a source of information on book prizes and prizewinning books.

Some time ago I was looking for this sort of information and couldn't find one centralised source. I had to search around the individual book prize sites to find what I wanted.

I started BookPrizeInfo.com partly to fill this gap and partly as an exercise in database-driven website programming. It's a purely personal project so I add data and maintain it in my spare time.

The range of data is limited, though it will grow as I add to it over time. I have started with the major UK and US prizes for fiction, and have limited it to prize data from this century.

The site was developed in php and mysql using the excellent Notepad++ editor. The site design is based on a modified version of a template by Template World.
